The 'El Roi' film was made for the launch of the eponymous album by jazz pianist and composer Sultan Stevenson. The record was launched in the Purcell Room at the Southbank Centre on April 4th 2025; a live rendition of the entire album was preceded by a screening of the film and a talk between the creatives involved.
